Who We Are
Hailsham Volunteer Hub is a project run by Hailsham Foodbank, helping local organisations get the voluntary help they need.
Whether you want a regular slot each week or just a one off placement, we have a wide range of opportunities on offer. Come in and have a chat to Nicky, who co-ordinates the hub, and she’ll do her best to find something suited to you.
What We Do
We match people who want to volunteer with volunteer opportunities within charities and community organisations in Hailsham and the surrounding villages.

Meet the team
julie Coates
I have volunteered at Hailsham foodbank since September 2012 and been manager since February 2014. I go to ChristChurch Hailsham, which is one of the Crosslink Churches who are our trustees. I also co-facilitate Hailsham Community Groups Forum, alongside Julie Hollister, and it was from here that the need for a volunteer hub in Hailsham was identified. With our central location in town and our natural footfall of people we were happy to take this forward and it fits in well with our more than food projects with volunteering benefitting peoples health and wellbeing.
Another Julie is my amazing volunteer who is looking after the hub and matching volunteering opportunities with willing volunteers.
